At Linden we are proud to offer a wide-range of extra-curricular activities, which complement and enhance our curriculum. The activities offer the children opportunities to try new experiences, which they may not otherwise have been able to try. They provide fun, stimulating and rich experiences whilst developing and enhancing pupils’ talents and skills beyond the curriculum. Activities are mostly led by staff in school and all take place in a safe and structured learning environment.

The activities on offer reflect the interests and passions of children and staff and can vary each term.

Sporting Clubs

This year at Linden our girls and boys football teams are competing locally with other schools. We also offer gymnastics, karate (externally run, multi-skills and yoga. Throughout the year, children across the school are given many opportunities to compete in a range of sporting events such as cross country and swimming competitions.

Gardening Club

 

Curriculum Clubs

Our curriculum clubs cover many interests, we use both school staff and external providers.  Clubs include street art, street dance, arts and crafts, STEM and newspaper reporting.

Music Clubs

We are delighted to offer a range of opportunities for children to experience music. On offer we have samba-drumming, KS1 and KS2 school choir and Dj club.
