Linden Primary School was built in 1902, the original building is still in use with a significant number of classes housed in new purpose built accommodation. The school serves the area Linden in the centre of Gloucester. It is organised into the Foundation Stage, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. A new Children’s Centre opened on the site in Autumn 2006 which provides pre-school education and care.
School Environment
The school grounds have recently seen some exciting changes! They are all part of a new inititive to improve the school environment. Already the changes have had a huge impact for the children in their lessons and their playtimes!
The BIG Dig
We have made our outside area a more useable and visually appealing place by creating an outside seating zone.
Parents, children and staff and governors all mucked in to make this happen!! It was definitely worth all of the hard work!

Forest School
The far corner of our field has become a 'forest' used as part of our forest school. The children in Reception have enjoyed many fun and interesting activities here.
Pond and Wildlife zone
We have our own school pond within our grounds. The pond was designed and built by the children at Linden. This is a haven for wildlife and is a fantastic resource for the children to use as part of their lessons or for just curiosity and enjoyment.

Trim Trail
Recently the school has created a trim trail in the playground. The children have welcomed this new addition and now love playtimes even more.

MUGA
We are very fortunate at Linden to not only have a large field and playground but also to have an extensive Multi Use Games Area. This is ideal for Physical Education activities and lessons.
